Time to Give Organic Makeup a Try

Many are turning to organic products when they shop for groceries. The latest place all things organic are turning up is for your cosmetics and skincare!

There are tremendous benefits to using organic makeup. Just as experts have stated that purchasing organic fruits and vegetables means that these produce items have been created without pesticides (chemicals) that can affect you—your cosmetics can be created to be much healthier for you as well.

Lots of organic cosmetics include essential oils or herbs. Essential oils are known to offer mental, emotional and physical benefits when used in aromatherapy. Herbs are often used for physical ailments and we also use them in small quantities in cooking. So these items are both quite healthy and natural to use on our faces and skin.

Many also turn to organic cosmetics because they know they will be created as “cruelty-free” cosmetics and skincare. This means that they will not be tested on animals. There are many ways in today’s world to test your products before offering them to the public without making animals suffer. More progressive companies are aware of this fact.

Organic cosmetics will simply not have many of the chemicals that can be found in your everyday cosmetics. It is thought that women ingest (eat) literally pounds of lipstick during their lifetime. You certainly want to be sure what you are taking in is something that is healthy or at least benign for your system.

So organic cosmetics are the latest thing - but do you feel this is the only path to being a true natural beauty? What are your tricks or tips to being a natural beauty? Are there products you simply would never give up - even if they weren’t organic? Give us a shout out about your favorite beauty products!
